We all encounter blanks, pauses, moments of silence, while talking to someone, and Silence Breaker is here to help you speak again.
When clicking anywhere on the screen, a question appears. Click again, and a new question shows up. The questions appear randomly, from a selection of 100 questions. These questions have been written to make you think, even if it’s only for a few minutes, in the hopes of your conversation restarting and leading to new subjects.
During a date, party, or simply an afternoon between friends, when there’s a pause that starts to become awkward, and you don’t know what to say anymore, you can take out your phone and go on Silence Breaker to find inspiration.
Project realized by Lauren Pearson, during a workshop by Raphaël Bastide in December 2017, at the École Supérieure d’Art des Pyrénées, Pau.
